At Mindjoy, innovation fuels our every move. Explore our latest product releases and updates, designed to make your Mindjoy experience even better.
Start anything from one place. The home page now puts the agent front and centre. Type what you want to do, and it gets to work.
Suggestions made for you. A short, personalised list of next tasks sits just beneath the composer, based on what you've recently been working on.
Onboarding that works alongside you. Each step of the checklist now opens a fresh agent conversation: the agent explains the "why," then helps you do it.
See what's happening in your classroom. The agent turns your Mindjoy data, or data you provide, into charts you can read at a glance.
Build lessons from real-world material. The agent can search the web, read a URL you share, or pull a transcript from a YouTube video, then work it straight into a lesson.
Hand off the whole job, not just one step. Ask for something bigger and the agent breaks it into steps and works through them: research a topic, generate a lesson, and generate a class poster, all from one request.
Get better results on every task. Pick the model that fits, now including OpenAI's GPT-5.5 and Google's Gemini 3.5 Flash and Gemini 3.1 Pro.
The lesson editor has been rebuilt from the ground up. More flexible, more powerful, and designed to keep up with how you actually teach.
We're excited to see what you build. As always, your feedback shapes what comes next.
The educator home page has a redesigned Get Started section to help you find your feet on Mindjoy faster. Step-by-step guides with embedded tutorial videos walk you through creating tutors, building lessons, using the Educator Agent, and onboarding your students.
Educators get a simpler, more focused setup when creating an account. Tell us what brings you to Mindjoy and we'll help you build your first tutor, first lesson or give you a quick tour of the platform.
Educators can now share tutors with people who don't have a Mindjoy account. Tutors stay private by default, but you can make them public through sharing settings to generate a shareable link anyone can open, no login required.
Great for showcasing your best tutors beyond the classroom โ letting colleagues try before adopting, sharing educational resources with parents, or demoing at conference talks.
Tutor insights now update live while a tutor is still open. No more closing the assigned tutor just to see what's going on. Check in regularly, spot misconceptions as they happen, and intervene while it still matters.
Students can now interact with their AI tutors in the Mindjoy App, directly from tablet and mobile devices. Get help, ask questions, and continue learning wherever you are โ no laptop required.
As an educator you now have access to four new interactive block types to include in your lessons.
We can't wait to see what you build!
Tutors now support working with documents! Students can upload their worksheets, PDFs or code and ask the tutor for help on specific problems. Drag and drop files from your computer or upload straight from your phone.
Supported file types include:
Educators can now customize the moderation responses that are shown to students when their tutor chat messages are flagged by the moderation system. This allows you to provide more context and guidance to students about why their content was flagged and how to improve it.
Lessons are at the core of the learning experiences educators create on Mindjoy, and now they have a home of their own.
Until now, lessons lived inside pathways โ great for structured sequences, but as educators' needs grew, so did the demand for more flexibility in how lessons are created, organised, and shared.
Lessons are now independent building blocks that can stand on their own or be combined into pathways:
The Educator Agent now goes beyond chat โ it can take action on your behalf. Use natural conversation to create content, organise your classrooms, and navigate your teaching resources, all without leaving the chat.
@ to reference and search through your classrooms, pathways, lessons, tutors, and students directly in the conversationWorkspace administrators can now copy tutor and pathway assignments from one classroom to another, making it faster to set up new classrooms with the same configuration.
Mindjoy now connects directly to your Learning Management System. With our new LTI 1.3 integration, educators and students can access Mindjoy without ever leaving Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or any LTI 1.3-compliant platform.
Getting started is simple - organisation admins can set up the connection from the Integrations page in Mindjoy, then share the configuration details with their LMS administrator. Once connected, educators can start embedding Mindjoy content into their courses right away.
Sync your class rosters directly from Google Classroom or Microsoft Teamsโno more manually adding students one by one.
Personal integrations (for individual educators):
Organization-wide integrations (for IT admins):
Once connected, you can import class rosters with one click and keep them in sync automatically.

Simply invite students via email address (via CSV file or typing out the email addresses), then select โSingle Sign Onโ when prompted โHow should students sign in?โ. Students will receive an email notifying them, and all they need to do is sign in. Please contact support@mindjoy.com if youโd like configure this for your workspace.
Lesson blocks now automatically receive AI-generated titles based on their content, making it easier to organize and navigate complex lessons.
Socratic modes give educators greater flexibility when creating tutors for different purposes. Choose how tutors guide students โ from question-first approaches to hints and step-by-step guidance โ to match the learning context.
Now you can:

Personalize your digital learning space by adding emojis to your classrooms for easy identification and a touch of fun! We've also introduced a new grade level setting for classrooms. This feature allows educators to customize the feedback students receive, making it more age-appropriate and effective for their specific stage of learning.
Students and educators now receive in-app notifications to stay updated on platform activity. For example, students will be notified when a pathway is assigned to one of their classrooms. You can mark your notifications as read, archive old ones, and click through to the relevant activity. You can also receive an optional daily digest of your unread notifications from the past 24 hours.
Weโve refreshed the home page to make it faster to take action and find what you need.
Now you get:
We've revamped the submissions views on the platform! Not only have we improved the navigation and given it a fresh coat of paint, we now provide insights into question-by-question responses, mark distribution and more.
Now you can:
You can now create a tutor simply by describing the type of tutor you want! Provide your description and desired teaching style, upload a knowledge base (optionally), and our system will handle the prompt creation and setup. This update makes it easier to set up tutors for your different needs.
Lesson generation now supports custom instructions. When creating lessons, you can specify additional guidance to help steer the generated content in the direction you want. Reimagine how your students learn by creating engaging and interactive lessons with custom instructions that are outside of the box!

Administrators can now access comprehensive insights for educators, including onboarding progress, student engagement, and classroom activity. Educators also have access to detailed insights for their own classrooms, empowering them to better understand and support their students.
We've made it easier to add students to your classrooms. Choose between inviting students via email (now including support for CSV files), importing from Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams, or use a join code. We've also added the ability to see which students have already been invited to your classrooms, and also a handy search bar to find students by name or email.

We've added a fun new feature that allows educators to generate great looking images for their tutors! Simply prompt your tutor like you normally would and we'll generate you an image based on your prompt. You can always regenerate the image to get a different one, or upload your own image.
We've revamped Mindjoy's user interface to be more consistent, user-friendly and dare we say... beautiful! You'll notice a new look and feel across the platform, with a refreshed sidebar and breadcrumb navigation, updated font, colour palette and an optional dark mode.
We've improved the educator onboarding experience to better explain the platform and help you get started. For new educators signing up, we'll now suggest relevant organizations that you can request to join. We've also added a new "Create a classroom" step, allowing you to set up your first classroom and start inviting students right away. Lastly, we've added a "Get started" page to explain the steps needed to get going as well as provide links to helpful resources.
Educators can now set start and due dates for pathways. This creates a submission window during which students can submit their work.
For specific organizations that need it, Mindjoy now enables using the same account to access multiple workspaces. This means you can be an educator in one workspace and a student in another using the same email address to sign in.
Learning isn't just about completing a set of lessons, it's about making meaningful progress, finding flow, and mastering concepts in a way that feels natural. The word Courses suggests something linear and rigid, but real learning is dynamic, iterative, and personal. Pathways better reflects this kind of learning journey. Pathways are designed to guide students, not just through content, but toward deeper understanding and self-direction. Pathways (even less traveled ones) allow for exploration, time for detours and rabbit holes, direction for those who want to pick up the pace and new building blocks to build new kinds of learning maps that make learning more engaging. In the future, we're looking forward to making them collaborative. For now though, with Mindjoy's AI-first pathways, educators and students gain more flexibility, support, and insights to make meaningful learning progress. It's more than just a name change: it's a shift in how we think about learning. We can't wait to see the amazing learning pathways you'll create.
Administrators can now view a list of all the students within the organization. This includes students who have been archived as well as those who are currently active. Admins can:
Educators can add collaborators to their classrooms to help manage assigned work, invite students and manage the classroom.
Improved UX (inspired by Google Classroom) that handles more email formats and clearly displays errors.
Introducing Courses, a new module designed to enhance STEM learning with three key features:
Educators can now upload coursework, pair it with custom AI tutors, set up auto-marked assessments, and monitor student progress through detailed insights.
Students can now upload images when responding to a free response question and this will be used in the automarking workflow. This also includes changes to our editor โ you'll see that all usages of the editor look the same and the "actions" are consistently displayed at the bottom (toggle toolbar, upload photo, record audio etc.).
Introducing experimental Tutor Insights! Get aggregated insights on your classroom based on student activity.
We've added a new AI voice feature that brings learning to life through sound! Students can now have any AI message read aloud with just a click of a button.
We've added a new rich text editor with powerful features to improve your ability to write and format content on Mindjoy.
